Early Summer LP 2010
Early Summer is the highly acclaimed second album by Amaya Laucirica. On its release it was described as “a wistful, tender affair, full of dreamy melodies and sublime layers of sound” by JJJ and “an enveloping record that draws on the pensive intimacy of the talented Melbourne songstress” by Beat Magazine.
It went on to become Feature album at Triple J radio station in November 2010.
Recorded by Dave McCluney at Altantis Studios in Melbourne, mixed by Victor Van Vugt (Beth Orthon, PJ Harvey, Nick Cave) in New York and mastered by Ray Staff (Spiritualized, The Libertines) in London.
The album artwork was designed by Amaya Laucirica with photography by Lauren Bamford.
