Lately

Hey guys,

It’s been a while since I’ve been here so I thought I’d just write up a little update on what’s been happening.

The band and I began recording album number three in November at Atlantis Studios in Port Melbourne. We recorded once again with Dave McCluney (who has recorded our past two albums). We recorded fourteen songs over three days, and spent the next six sessions recording overdubs and vocals.

Towards the end of December I was fortunate enough to be awarded a grant from Arts Victoria to complete the recording for release this year. It has already been of great assistance and enabled the mixing to begin soon after which started in January. It’s been fortunate once again to have Victor Van Vugt work on the mixes (who mixed our last record, Early Summer). The mixes have recently been completed and are sounding really great. Now it’s a matter of selecting the songs to make the final track listing, as well as figuring out a track order before the album is mastered which I’m hoping is not too far away…

October Shows in Melbourne

I'm looking forward to be playing again this month. I have two solo shows coming up. One will be supporting Husky at the Corner Hotel next Thursday October 11. Then I have a show at the end of the month playing a show with my friend Ali E at the Retreat in Brunswick on Wednesday October 31. Further details for the shows are on the shows page.

Then I will be disappearing for a little while to record my third album which begins in just a months time at Atlantis Studios in Port Melbourne. I'm really looking forward to recording these new songs.

Hi Everyone,

A show in Castlemaine and recording news....

Hello there,

Its been quiet here for a few months. Have been busy preparing for the next album, which looks like we’ll start recording in November this year.

In the mean time, I have a solo show coming up in a few weeks at The Bridge Hotel in Castlemaine on Saturday July 28. Some lovely people are running the venue there, and I’m really looking forward to playing again. Further details are on the shows page.
